ooops

Posted by jenmarie under: Uncategorized.

so I had a crazy weekend, with no time to post at all!

it was awful nutritionally because I was completely on the go all the time - lots of energy bars and nut butters, no meat at all - or fish… :P

1500, 1650, and 2100 calories (friday saturday sunday) - but didn’t feel like i ever overate which was good…

i’m exhausted because i haven’t had more than 5 hours a night for 3 days, which is so bad - hopefully i can recover over the week. unfortunately, from 2 nights of getting up at 4:30-4:45 (i mean mornings… although they really shouldn’t be mornings until after 6!) my body has re-programmed, and i woke up at 4:15 this morning and couldn’t go back to sleep - ick. i had to leave at 6 anyways, so I got up and just took my time getting things together for gym/work/the day…

so tired! and the other bad thing… i’ve returned to the evil land of caffeine!!! (uh-oh!)

after a year and a few months of NO caffeine at ALL… on thursday i had a half cup of regular coffee, friday it was two diet sodas and a venti iced green tea, saturday was two diet sodas, and yesterday was a diet soda, a mug of coffee, (most of it) and a venti iced green tea… i’m trying to go without it today, but i have a bad feeling i may resort to it again (especially having had another very sleep-deprived night!)

i’m looking forward to getting back on a normal schedule!!!!

this weekend (Saturday) is a 14 miler - i’m hoping to do it outside and NOT on the treadmill like last time… we’ll see! weather looks good - just need somewhere to go!

i’ll try to catch up on all of my workout posts from the past week later this evening.

ttfn!

I have a problem with caffeine as well (monster energy drink…the lo carb, lo sugar one), bu it looks like it may be the diet soda that could be the worst for you overall…just my .o2 cents…diet soda is full of crappy things, at least with caffeine you can drink more water to replenish. Just a thought. otherwise, nice blog, nice scheduled workouts as well!!
